Dajoh salutes Mbagen for support, solidarity

The Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Aondona Dajoh has praised the good people of Mbagen of Buruku local government who are his maternal parents for the love shown him.

Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker said , Dajoh expressed joy when the people under the umbrella of the Mbagen Development Association came to pay him a congratulatory visit over his emergence as the speaker of the 10th Benue House of Assembly.
“My joy today knows no bounds for having you, my maternal parents coming to celebrate with me over what God has done for me. This goes to show that I am not alone, I have people I can count on and call upon in times of need.”
The speaker appreciated the people of Mbagen and called on them to always put their leaders in prayers, especially their son from Jemgbagh who God has elevated to the position of secretary to the Government of the Federation, Distinguished Senator Dr. George Akume, and his excellency,  Rev. Fr. Alia, the executive Governor of Benue state.
The speaker further called on all sons and daughters of Jemgbagh to unite and form an agenda that will bring development to the area, saying, God has been very generous to Jemgbagh and they have no reason to be lagging in terms of development.
Earlier in a welcome address,  Elder Ndzuul Anshibi, the speaker’s father thanked his inlaws for finding time to identify with him and his son saying, “Aondona Dajoh is the speaker today because God destined him for it”
The Honorable member representing Buruku state constituency at Benue state House of Assembly,  Hon. Abraham Zahemen Jabi in his remarks thanked the people of Mbagen for identifying with the speaker and assured them that on his part, he will give the speaker maximum support and cooperation to succeed as the speaker of the 10th Benue Assembly.
Speaking earlier,  the President General of Mbagen Development Association, Mr. Solomon Shimsenge, and the Ter Buruku represented by Tyoor Mbaakura, Zaki Dzer Ager all gave thanks to God for what He has done for their Son,  Hon Aondona Dajoh, and prayed to God to give him the wisdom, strength, and protection as he goes about his duties.
The President General however called on the speaker to support a few development Projects in Mbagen cut across Education, Rural electrification among others with emphasis on the Nyamatsor state Constituency that was proscribe by the military Junta coup d’etat.
In a vote of thanks, the Commander of Operation Zenda JTF, Chief Superintendent of Police, Dr. Justine Gberindyer whose mother also hails from Mbagen was full of thanks to the people of Mbagen for identify with the speaker and called on them to always pray for the speaker to succeed.
