The ensuing struggle turned chaotic, leading to Kuda being shot. He was later confirmed dead. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that an outpost of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) was set ablaze, along with several motorcycles.
